Hello and welcome , my name is Martin Wilkins and I am a professional wedding photographer. I am based in the stunning village of Blackwater just outside of Newport on the Isle of Wight. I cover all of the Island and its glorious venues and with the fantastic ferry access I can be on the mainland in no time – London is under 2 hours away.
I am best described as a documentary style wedding photographer, I capture and tell the story of your wedding day through beautiful and natural reportage styled photographs. Most of my clients also ask for a selection of what I call my signature images these are images where I have taken you away from the celebrations and we go to a place of beauty where I capture those relaxed but stunning shots that you will treasure for ever. The end result is a fantastic collection of photos which perfectly capture the essence of your special day.

ON THE WEDDING DAY: My aim is to record moments as they happen with the minimum amount of fuss, leaving you to enjoy your wedding day with your familyand friends.
COVERING THE WHOLE DAY: I will take a range of pictures of the entire day to ensure that I really capture the beauty of your wedding. I aim to show you, your guests and the location in the best possible way so that you will have a fantastic selection from which to build up your album. There are always a good mix of natural, unposed shots, traditional group shots, portraits, and some really unique images too. I am accustomed to organising the group shots quickly, so you needn’t worry about guests being left waiting around.
CREATING THOSE CHERISHED IMAGES :Taking a photograph is simple, but taking superb photographs requires skills, experience, and an ability to relate with people. Your wedding is such an important time in your life and it deserves to be beautifully recorded. browse through the albums on the gallery page and judge my photography for yourselves.
PRE WEDDING MEETING :For you to truly enjoy your wedding day you need to be sure that your photographer will do everything you’ve agreed. That’s why I spend time with the bride and groom beforehand, gaining an insight to you as a couple and going through exactly what is planned and who’s who in the wedding party.
I have a very friendly and relaxed approach. I photograph the people, details and emotions that you put so much time and effort into planning. At the same time I remain in the back ground as much possible and try to make everyone feel at ease. I have found that the best pictures result from relating to a couple’s personality and style, and I can suggest ways to bring this out in your photographs.
Being flexible, I offer a range of packages just let me know which parts of the wedding you would like covered and I will provide you a quotation.
The album I create for you will be totally unique and will be presented in either a very high quality, beautifully designed story book wedding album or a magnificent Sim2000 styled album – which ever you prefer.

I take great care whilst processing your images to ensure they have a depth of expression which almost brings them to life. The reason I spend so much time working on your photos is simple, I want you to see the wedding day unfold in front of you as you look at your album, I want you to relive the moments one by one.
To give our clients the kind of service they are promised and expect from us, I limit the number of wedding I accept to only about 20 each year.
In 2010 I received well in excess of this number of requests for my services. For this reason I book on a strictly first come first served basis.
The first couple to return a fee takes the date.
I am very sorry indeed however I cannot hold any dates with out a booking fee having been returned.
