Well this is Robbie my new horse, he is 17hh and 12yrs old, Robbie has done nothing for a couple of years due to moving back to the UK from abroad and then just sitting in a field taking it easy….
At one time in his past he had been schooled to a good standard in dressage as when Lucinda my crash test dummy rode him for the first time he knew straight away what she was asking for and tried his hardest to do what she wanted and when he was shown a small x pole he went over it with no hesitation.
I rode him out yesterday in company and he was an angel so today I went out on my own around Chillerton and again we had no problems, I now have the long and boring job of getting his fitness back again as even the 2miles or so at walk today made him very tired.

You can see now that he is a good 17hh with lots of bone for my weight…

I need to buy a saddle as this dressage one that he came with feels awful compared to what I am used to.
